Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care in a comfortable and efficient environment. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist and other team members to provide exceptional support during various dental procedures.

Duties

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
• Maintain accurate medical records, including patient history and treatment plans, while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Utilize Dentrix software for scheduling appointments, managing patient information, and billing processes.
• Perform medical imaging tasks such as X-rays and 3D scanning to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Implement aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Educate patients on post-operative care, oral hygiene practices, and treatment options.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth operations within the practice.

Experience
Candidates should possess a strong background in dental assisting or related fields. Familiarity with medical terminology is essential, along with experience in medical coding. Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic is preferred. Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and equipment is also advantageous. A commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to industry standards is highly valued.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour
