Summary :
he Price Coordinator is first and foremost responsible for guest relations and satisfaction. The primary responsibility of the Price Coordinator is the accuracy of price scanning in the store. It is of the utmost importance that the scanned prices charged to our guests match the prices shown on the shelf tags and signs. This is important, not only for guest satisfaction and efficiency reasons, but it is also important to pass the price scanning internal audits and inspections conducted by the Department of Agriculture.
Key Responsibilities :
- When a guest enters my area or department, my first and most important responsibility becomes to acknowledge, greet, and engage that guest
- Responsible for receiving, verifying, and hanging shelf tags and signs at store level
- Achieve a 1% or less scan error rate required by United Supermarkets
- Responsible for assisting with hiring, training and performance management of POS Clerks
- Perform the placing of signs and tags on shelves for changes, as advertised, and temporary reduction items in accordance with established procedures
- Responsible to work with department managers to minimize missing shelf tags daily
- Responsible for shelf sign and shelf tag maintenance in the store
- Performs other duties as requested or required by management
