United Fidelity Bank (the Bank)'s Internal Audit department is a dedicated group of professionals focused on delivering top-quality assurance and consulting services to the Bank's Senior Management and Audit Committee. Audit professionals are experienced, well-trained and credentialed, and operate within a collaborative environment to deliver value-added opinions and recommendations relating to the overall Risk Management Framework.
The Internal Audit Department is seeking an energetic, motivated Senior Principal Auditor to join the newly developed Professional Practices team within the department. The Professional Practices team will oversee the quality assurance and improvement program, driving key quality improvement initiatives, and assist in monthly board and committee reporting.
Essential Job Functions include, but are not limited to :
- Develop quality assurance programs to ensure that the audit function is in compliance with the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF), the Global Internal Audit Standards ("the Standards"), and internal audit best practices.
- Establish and refine internal audit methodologies by incorporating the IPPF, the Standards, and best practices.
- Develop and enhance templates and procedures to ensure consistency and quality across engagements.
- Design and implement enhancements to Internal Audit's independent risk assessment methodologies to ensure their relevance, effectiveness and alignment with OCC requirements.
- Establish and refine post-audit evaluation procedures to identify successful practices and areas needing improvement.
- Assist in the integration of advanced technologies to enhance audit processes, ensuring that innovative solutions are effectively implemented.
- Collaborate with the department's Information Technology Audit team to drive the utilization of data analytics and machine learning to proactively identify emerging risks and trends, positioning the organization ahead of potential challenges.
- Champion the research and implementation of automation tools to streamline routine tasks such as data extraction, entry, and preliminary analysis, improving overall efficiency.
- Foster a culture of data-driven insights by collaborating with the department's Information Technology Audit team to leverage innovative technologies to enhance analytical capabilities, enabling informed decision-making across the organization.
- Develop a comprehensive communications plan for internal audit to effectively engage key stakeholders.
- Prepare reports on the results of the quality control activities, which will be viewed by senior management and the Audit Committee.
- Develop and utilize data visualization tools and dashboards for effective reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability in reporting processes.
- Self-prioritize and effectively plan work activities, managing multiple priorities and tasks across the team to deliver quality results.
- Proactively take on additional work to support the team when possible.
- Provide training and coaching to audit team members during quality assurance reviews, and, as applicable, provide training to the broader internal audit team.

The associate is frequently required to sit and / or stand, communicate, reach, and manipulate objects, tools or controls that are typical of an office / bank environment. Lifting items weighing up to 10 pounds on a consistent basis. Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 80% of the work period while operating equipment such as computers, phones, calculators, etc.
