Rotational Saturday – 8:30AM - 12:30PM

GENERAL PURPOSE: The primary purpose of this position is to assist United Financial Credit Union in abiding by the company’s employee WOW initiative to uphold and adhere to the Mission Statement, Vision Statement, DEI Statement, and the Core Values. The mission of innovative, friendly, and quality service, United Financial Credit Union will provide long-term financial stability to our credit union, our members, and their families. Employees should strive to help our credit union achieve the strategic goals set by the Board of Directors.
PURPOSE: Guide and manage branch offices of the Credit Union in providing quality service to members in account transactions, loan applications, and new account. Solve problems within established policies and guidelines. Engage in the local community by excelling in leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and team focused. Be tactful, courteous and possess the ability to motivate direct reports. Must have the ability to supervise employees, excellent communication skills, and to be able to maintain an effective and efficient schedule of workflow within the Branches. Must be thoroughly familiar with credit union policy, services, and field of membership. High school diploma or GED required. Advanced education is preferred.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
· Assist the VP of Member Experience with the operations of the Pinconning Branch. Schedule staff, answer routine to complex questions on products and services, policies and procedures, or rules and regulations.
· Provides routine information concerning credit union services and member’s accounts in accordance with credit union policy.
· Supervises branch office staff assuring that member service is provided as quickly and efficiently as possible. Maintain a highly motivated, well-trained staff, maintaining effective employee relations.
· Provides training, direction and coaching of staff in fostering a sales and service culture via cross selling of credit union services.
· Responsible for daily opening and closing of the Branch while assuring the security of employees, members, and assets of the credit union. Manage the security and safety of the branch. Analyze and monitor security and safety policies and procedures on an on-going basis.
· Perform duties of a loan officer including interviewing, counseling, and closing of consumer loans.
· Assist with basic Mortgage application of members.
· Ensures a professional working environment supporting all credit union policies, procedure, and decisions.
· Provides backup support to all job responsibilities performed at the branch office. May function as head teller, receptionist, LSR or MSR on an as-needed basis, filling in for peak coverage or shortages.
· Evaluates work performances, establishes hours, and approves time punches of branch employees.
· Assist in managing operations of the local school branch to ensure a smooth and effective functioning environment.
· Ensures that proper housekeeping of work areas, desks, equipment, etc., within the branch is carried out. Responsible for keeping employees supplied with sufficient supplies and forms to carry on day-to-day business.
· Perform other duties as may be assigned.
