Position: Game Day Operations Team Member
Reporting to: Marketing Director
About the United Football League:
The United Football League (UFL) is the premier spring football platform, formed by the merger of the XFL and USFL in 2024 under the combined ownership of Redbird Capital Partners, FOX, Dany Garcia and Dwayne Johnson. The UFL has eight teams in Arlington (TX), Birmingham (AL), Detroit (MI), Houston (TX), Memphis (TN), San Antonio (TX), St. Louis (MO), and Washington D.C.
Job Summary:
The game day operations team member will assist in setting up all fan experiences on UFL game days. The team member will complete a variety of tasks ranging from setting up activations, escorting group sales experience on and around the field, distributing prizing, organizing game days assets, and contributing to the overall game day atmosphere. This is a part-time, seasonal position, and the ideal candidate is enthusiastic about working in the sports industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Be available to work all five (5) D.C. Defenders regular season home games
03/30/25 -- Kickoff @ 3 p.m.
04/05/25 -- Kickoff @ 8 p.m.
04/20/25 -- Kickoff @ 5 p.m.
05/18/25 -- Kickoff @ Noon
05/30/25 -- Kickoff @ 8 p.m.
• Work with UFL team representatives in activation of game day programming for all five regular season home games
• Support team with tasks assigned by the Marketing Director
• Engage positively with fans before, during, and after home games
• Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner at all times
• Other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience in live-event production or professional sports (preferred)
• Proven leadership and self-starter skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Strong organization and time management skills; ability to multitask
• Available for odd hours including nights and weekends
• Position may require to regularly lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds and standing / walking
• Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays required
Compensation:
Pursuant to the state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with the final offer amount dependent on education, skills, and experience is $18-$20/hour. This role is not eligible for benefits.

Salary : $18 - $20
