Summary
Assist plant operations with the movement, storage and transportation of WIP goods.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Load/Unload incoming and outgoing trucks daily
- Scan product going to warehouse on outgoing trucks.
- Wrap, band, and label product as required.
- Move and locate goods to the proper departments, cells, and machines.
- Provide accurate counts and weights to production and shipping departments.
- Ensure that all product has proper documentation before being moved.
- Provide material handling support to and from all manufacturing operations.
- Ensure product is handled and stacked in a safe and organized manner.
- Remove dunnage and waste products from work areas to the proper disposal location.
- Ensure that necessary totes, skids, and containers are available to facilitate production operations.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Duties require verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications
Intermediate reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent, or a 2 degree program.
Language Skills
Communication, Problem Solving, Analytical Ability, Interpersonal and Dexterity Skills are important qualities for a Successful Job Performance.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Perform preventive maintenance on machine and maintain cleanliness of work area.
Monday through Thursday
6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Intermittent OT on Fridays
