Up to 2 days a week for remote, onsite in Columbia, SC.

This contractor will be one member of a team that is comprised of proven experts in some or all the fields of analysis, research, project management, networking, virtual environments, information security, encryption, network automation, centralized IT management, cloud computing, Microsoft applications, SQL database management systems, end-user support, and applications development or support environments, etc.
REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):

6. Working knowledge of the PMI project management lifecycle, including waterfall and agile methodologies
7. Experience in developing and maintaining documentation for core project collateral, training, policies, procedures, and best practices
8. Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate the needs of technical peers, technical and user management, business users, vendors, and staff members
9. At least 3 years of experience on infrastructure or network-related projects as well as applications projects
10. Experience with meeting facilitation
11. Working knowledge of the change management lifecycle
12. Experience with requirements / environments for PCI, PUB1075, and/or NIST.
PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
1. Experience as a project manager
in government IT projects
2. Experience implementing both Cloud and On-Premise solutions.
3. Knowledge of Microsoft products- Windows, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, MS Office, Office 365, Visio
4. Knowledge of information technology best practices, organization and operations
5. BA and/or QA experience
6. Ability to write training documentation and/or procedures
7. Vendor management skills
8. Metrics analysis and reporting
9. Applicable industry certifications for project management or specific technologies
10. Easily adapts to changing priorities in a dynamic environment
11. Ability to conduct research into issues and products as required
12. Information security experience
REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
1. A Bachelor's degree in information technology systems, computer science, or related field and four (4) years of experience in information technology systems or related area; or an Associate's degree in information technology systems, computer science, or related field and six (6) years of experience in information technology systems or related area; or a High School diploma and eight (8) years of experience in information technology systems or related area
