About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardio ICU for a 13-week contract in Carmichael, CA . This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a high-acuity cardiovascular intensive care unit , providing critical care to patients with complex cardiac conditions .
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert critical care to patients with cardiac and vascular conditions .
- Monitor and manage ventilators, hemodynamics, and cardiac support devices .
- Administer IV medications, drips, and emergency interventions as required.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, intensivists, and the multidisciplinary team .
- Maintain strict adherence to ICU protocols and patient safety standards .
- Provide patient and family education on post-ICU care and cardiac health management.
Qualifications Required :
Active and unrestricted California RN license .
Minimum of 2 years of ICU / Cardio ICU nursing experience .
Current BLS & ACLS certifications (PALS preferred) .
