NRP, PALS, BLSCommon diagnoses / Types of patients prenature- sepsis, surgical- gastroschesis, evas, vented rarely- nasal cpap, rare osciallatoryExperience or 'Must have' skills 3 years of NICU experience, must have experience with the drips below, and have experience in a level 3 NICUAre RNs required to titrate drips? dopamine, dobutamine, versed, fentanylCommon titratable & / or set rate drips same as aboveCharge Nurse / House Supervisor? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? Charge covers both NICU and peds- free of assignment, charge for days and nightsAre there nurse aids on this unit / Ratios noneNeonatologist in house 24 / 7? 24 hours in unit, as well as RT in unit 24 hoursRT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc) Osciallators, nasal cpap, rare vents,(nitrous oxide rare-core staff to take) giraffes for bassinetsIs there tele on this unit?
