Athletic Trainer Position at Vestal Ortho
We are seeking an experienced Athletic Trainer to join our team, providing athletic training services and coverage for local colleges, high schools, and sporting events.
Responsibilities:
- Assist and collaborate with the Sports Medicine Team in various functions to deliver comprehensive care to our athletic community.
- Provide athletic training services, including injury assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation.
- Develop and implement prevention programs to reduce the risk of injuries.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree or Master's of Science degree from an institution with National Athletic Training Association approved curriculum.
- National certification through the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers (BOC) and licensed or license-eligible by New York State.
- CPR certification within the first three months of employment.
