What are the responsibilities and job description for the Breast Surgery Nurse Practitioner position at United Health Services?
The Breast Surgery Nurse Practitioner (NP) will provide health care services to patients under direction and responsibility of the Breast Surgeons by performing comprehensive physical examinations, post op examinations, Breast Cancer Surveillance and high risk surveillance.
Full-time, seeking both experienced and new, motivated graduate Nurse Practitioners.
This position will see Breast Surgery patients in a clinic setting, they will order diagnostic testing and they will educate patients regarding Breast Health. They will also develop and implement patient management plans, electronic medical records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care and instruct and counsel patients regarding compliance with prescribed imaging and health maintenance following NCCN guidelines.
