Job Summary
An ideal candidate for this role is a skilled Speech Language Pathologist who can provide high-quality patient care in a home care setting. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a passion for helping patients achieve their speech and language goals.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to identify speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to patients in their homes
• Maintain accurate records of patient progress and communicate with healthcare team members as needed
Requirements:
• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA) or Clinical Fellowship year candidate
• NYS license as a Speech Language Pathologist and CPR certification
• Previous clinical experience preferred, especially with dysphagia and neurogenic communication disorders
