Overview
The Nurse Educator/PI Coordinator on the Unit is responsible for collaborating with the Nurse Managers and Directors of Nursing across sites to plan and implement specific orientation, in-service education, and staff development. Ensures competency of all staff within clinical area. Provides support in review and development of departmental policies and procedures.

Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
- Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing
- Three (3) years relevant clinical nursing experience
- Clinical Specialist with master’s degree in nursing
- Previous education or management experience
Minimum Required:
- New York State Registered Nurse
- CPR certification within 3 months of hire
- NRP certification
- CPR Basic Life Support Instructor certification
- Professional certification in a related nursing specialty (C-EFM, In-Pt OB)
- Member of AWHONN
- Experience in collaboration with various interdisciplinary teams
