Overview
The RN Staff Development Coordinator plans, organizes, leads, directs and evaluates clinical programs that include but are not limited toprofessional development, quality, practice, regulatory compliance and research. Insures that required education and ongoing skill
development is accessible for all clinical areas and meets the learning objectives for the adult learner with demonstrated knowledge
retention.
Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
Minimum Required:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing or related field
- At least five (5) years of progressive, responsible relevant clinical, educational, and leadership/management experience
Preferred:
- Master of Science degree in Nursing or related field
- Previous experience in Nursing Staff Development
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
Minimum Required:
- Current New York State Registered Nurse license
- CPR within three (3) months of hire
Preferred:
- Certification in Nursing Professional Development
- Instructor of courses offered by Training and Development
