Responsibilities
- - Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities.
- - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance mobility, strength, and overall quality of life.
- - Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and speech therapists.
- - Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to support recovery and promote independence.
- - Maintain detailed and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes.
- - Participate in team meetings and engage in continuing education to stay current with best practices in physical therapy.
- - Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- - Valid California Physical Therapy license.
- - Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred, but not required.
- - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- - Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
