Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients to visualize internal structures and assess medical conditions.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal image quality.
- Prepare and position patients for ultrasound procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
- Analyze and interpret ultrasound images, providing accurate and timely reports to healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with medical and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
- Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
- State licensure as required.
- Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and conducting various ultrasound examinations.
