Contract Duration : 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours : 52 hr / week
Gross weekly : $2221.26 / week
Shift : Days 8x5- 40 hours
Job description
- Unit : Home Health
- Certs : BLS
- Ratios : patient load is based on productivity, usually about 5 visits per day, admission is usually equivalent to two patients
- EMR : Netsmart which was formerly known as Allscripts
- Charge Nurse : No
- Nurse Aides : No
- Weekend Requirement : every 3rd weekend - when they work the weekend they can have a day off the week before and after if wanted
- Holidays : they will work into holiday rotation
- Scrub Color : any scrub color
- Shifts : Hours are flexible, usually M-F 8am-5pm, with a 1 hr lunch
- Floor specific orientation : 1.5 - 2 weeks
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients : pt infusions, IV antibiotics, TPN, central lines, PICC lines, blood draws
- Additional Notes : They may have to take call, call is usually required 2-4x per month for the weekdays, schedule is 5pm-8am . May have to do infusions for peds, if the visit is related to pediatric condition they will be sent to ER for evaluation, most / if not all of pt population is not peds.
