Ratios : patient load is based on productivity usually about 5 visits per day admission is usually equivalent to two patients< / li>
EMR : Netsmart which was formerly known as Allscripts< / li>
Charge Nurse : No< / li>
Nurse Aides : No< / li>
Weekend Requirement : every 3rd weekend when they work the weekend they can have a day off the week before and after if wanted< / li>
Holidays : they will work into holiday rotation< / li>
Scrub Color : any scrub color< / li>
Shifts : Hours are flexible usually MF 8am5pm with a 1 hr lunch< / li>
Floor specific orientation : 1.5 2 weeks< / li>
Common diagnosis / Types of patients : pt infusions IV antibiotics TPN central lines PICC lines blood draws< / li>
Additional Notes : They may have to take call call is usually required 24x per month for the weekdays schedule is 5pm8am< / b>. May have to do infusions for peds if the visit is related to pediatric condition they will be sent to ER for evaluation most / if not all of pt population is not peds.< / li> < / ul>
