What are the responsibilities and job description for the LD RN position at United Health Systems?
United Healthcare is now hiring for a L&D RN for our location in beautiful Sacramento CA. As an RN you will provide 312 / hour night shifts per week for 13weeks. Services you will provide
- High risk unit couplet care. Must be willing to do it all from start to finish. Must be able to circulate csections and feel comfortable in PP.
Unit FBC OB / L&D / PP (LDRP)
L&D Beds 10
OR Suites on the unit for CSections 2
Triage beds 3 OBED and 3 antepartum testing used for OB ED overflow
Postpartum beds 12
Births per day Month Year 100150 births a month
Ratios 1 : 34 couplets LD anywhere from 1 : 1 to 1 : 2 1 : 13 antepartums
Required Certifications : BLS ACLS NRP & AWHONN Advanced EFM STABLE preferred. Common diagnoses / Types of patients preterm labor / bleeding / inductions / cesarean sections / hypertension Experience or Must have skills Must be able to float to MB and be able to circulate csections. All RNs must be able to circulate C / S.
Expected start date is 2 / 4.
