Duties
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, stakeholders, and local leaders to promote collaboration.
- Conduct presentations and workshops to educate the community about available resources and services.
- Supervise outreach efforts, ensuring effective communication and engagement with diverse populations.
- Manage projects aimed at enhancing community health and wellness, including fundraising initiatives.
- Provide support in addiction counseling and recovery programs as needed.
- Recruit volunteers and participants for community events and programs.
- Collect feedback from the community to inform program development and improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align community outreach efforts with organizational goals.
Requirements
- Proven experience in public speaking, home health/home care with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
- Background in social work, public health, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong project management skills with experience in leading initiatives from conception to execution.
- Experience in fundraising activities is a plus.
- Knowledge of addiction counseling practices is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team collaboration and motivation.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with community members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed for community events and meetings.
