Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Quality Assurance Nurse will be responsible for monitoring patient care practices, conducting audits, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to enhance the quality of care provided in our facility. Duties
- Conduct regular audits of patient care documentation and procedures to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to identify areas for improvement in patient care practices.
- Provide training and support to staff on quality assurance protocols and best practices.
- Review incident reports and assist in the investigation of any adverse events or complaints.
- Monitor adherence to safety protocols, infection control measures, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities and prepare reports for management review.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
- Experience in assisted living, geriatrics, or senior care settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of occupational health practices, health coaching, IV infusion techniques, and phlebotomy is a plus.
- Familiarity with pain management principles and internal medicine practices is beneficial.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for conducting audits and assessments.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and provide training.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on enhancing patient care quality.

Pay: $37.02 - $42.23 per hour
