Role Overview: Shuttle Driver
As a Shuttle Driver at United Infrastructure Group (UIG), you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to and from designated locations while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach. You will ensure that the shuttle operates on schedule and in compliance with all safety regulations, providing dependable service throughout the day.
Typical Duties include but are not limited to:
Transportation Services:
- Operate a shuttle vehicle in accordance with traffic laws and company policies.
- Follow designated routes and maintain an on-time schedule.
- Provide reliable service to passengers by maintaining a 15-minute pickup/drop-off interval or responding to calls for service.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with the Office of Regulatory Staff Class C Passenger Carrier licensing requirements.
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Adhere to all company and OSHA safety protocols.
Customer Service:
- Interact courteously and professionally with passengers, assisting with inquiries and ensuring their comfort and safety during transport.
Recordkeeping and Communication:
- Maintain detailed logs of routes, stops, and maintenance checks.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and dispatchers regarding any delays, emergencies, or vehicle issues.
Other Duties:
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper condition of the shuttle vehicle.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support operations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Prior experience driving passenger vehicles preferred.
- License Requirements: Valid Class C Driver’s License.
- Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with passengers and team members.
- Physical Ability: Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including working in varying weather conditions.
Physical Requirements:
- Field Work: Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Mobility: Ability to enter and exit vehicles safely multiple times per shift.
- Lifting and Carrying: Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 25 lbs.
Requirements:

- 18 years of age or older.
- Able to pass a drug test.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Possess reliable transportation to and from the job site (driver’s license required).
- Willing to work varying shifts, including holidays and weekends, as required by project needs.
