Main Focus:
Manufacturing and blending product to meet customer demands. Functional areas may include but not limited to: packing, blending, and processing materials.
Accountabilities:
- Packing/palletizing
- Labeling
- Scanning
- Warehousing of final product
- Completion of paperwork
- Manufacture and blending of organic peroxides
Responsibilities:
- Employ safe practices while working
- Set-up and tend automatic mixing and pack-out machine
- Loads ingredients into mixing machines and reactors from bulk tanks and drums in all buildings
- Start machines and make adjustments to admit raw materials or cooling fluids into process tanks.
- Interact with automated process equipment.
- Operates auxiliary equipment to prepare mixture for final processing
- Fill containers with product
- Select and apply proper labels
- Utilize lift equipment
- Clean for changeover
- Completes paperwork regarding the process of the finished products (batch sheets), set up printer and print labels, and utilize SAP system to scan in labels for inventory management
- Support ISO 9001, 14001, and Responsible Care Programs
- Perform housekeeping duties
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school degree or GED
- Must meet fit to work policy
- This position REQUIRES working a rotating 12-hour schedule which includes 3-4 nights per week, weekends (working every other weekend Friday/Saturday/Sunday), and holidays (as they fall on the schedule)
- Must have basic math skills
- Be able to lift 55 lbs. on a regular basis, at times be able to lift 110 lbs., be able to exert 100 lbs. of force occasionally
- Pass employment physical including ability to stand, overhead reach, walk, push, stoop, climb, crouch, kneel, pull, hear, talk, see, grasp, sit, and carry
- Fluent in English – reading and writing
- Must be able to distinguish color
- Ability to wear a respirator and other PPE
