United Install Group, LLC is hiring 1099 Broadband Cable Installers in Kenner, LA, and surrounding areas!
We are a partner with COX Communications that performs installations and service calls while providing A level customer service. We install, service, and educate both residential and commercial customers on Video, Phone, and Internet (WiFi).
We're looking for experienced triple-play technicians, but will be open to training qualified individuals.
Requirements for the position:
- must pass the criminal background check
- must pass a drug screen
- must have a clean driving record - MVR
- must be reliable and trustworthy
- must have integrity and take pride in your work
- must possess Great Customer Service skills
- must possess a High Level of Communication skills
- must possess A Time Management skills
- must be a Self-Disciplined and Self-Motivated person
- must be able to multi-task and be an extremely organized person
- must have the ability to lift, carry, and scale a 28' ladder
- must be physically capable to go under crawl spaces and into attics
- must be able to work in all types of weather (rain, sleet, or snow)
- must be flexible with scheduling as this jobs does require weekend work
- must be at least 18 years old to apply / must be at least 21 years old if truck lease program is needed
- the ability to travel is preferred, but not required.
- General Liability and Workers Comp insurances required
Tools required:
- Viavi cable signal meter
- Truck, SUV, or VAN capable to support a 28' ladder and materials
- Basic Cable Prep Tools
- Hammer Drill
- Safety PPE
