United Integrated Services (USA) is seeking a P6 Scheduler to join our team!

The P6 Scheduler will be responsible with preparing, monitoring, and amending project schedules, using Primavera P6, to ensure that the project goals or objectives are accomplished within the prescribed timeframe and parameters. Critical for success are the abilities to possess organizational skills, demonstrate critical thinking, and effectively communicate any deliverables that you are tasked to perform.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Maintain schedules to meet the project teams' needs. Adhere to the Standard of Practice (SOP) and manage information inputs and outputs to ensure the accuracy of schedule.
• Understand and utilize defined systems that are used to create, update and maintain project schedules.
• Gain a thorough understanding and working knowledge of other systems that integrate with the schedule, such as but not limited to, Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing, Cost, Entity Management Systems, and Electronic Manufacturing Readiness Checklist.
• Schedulers must work closely with all internal design and project teams, and stakeholders that are required to assure the reliability and accuracy of project schedules.
• Gain an understanding and working knowledge of constraints, resource leveling and planning, critical supply chain, work processes, critical path methods, manufacturing, transportation and delivery system affecting project schedules, labor productivity, system installation and integration, work procedures and etc. that would affect project schedules.
• Document all business processes for creating, updating, and reporting procedures and assuring compliance of all processes, procedures, and policies.
• Develop critical path analysis, Gantt chart, and resource leveling to report to project team members.
• Provide support to the planning & organizing of resource planning and scheduling of the project.
• Maintain and manage schedule and produce weekly reports, and update the schedule as needed (such as but not limited to schedule change, change order, process change etc.).
• Provide schedule indicators and reports as defined by the management and project team members.
• Participate in all schedule update meetings.
• Generate and simulate “What If” Analysis to project potential issues that would lead to delays or cost overruns.

Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in scheduling within the construction industry
  

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong understanding of P6 Primavera.
• In-depth knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling, resource loading, and earned value management.
• Experience with schedule risk analysis and forensic scheduling, a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Ability to use engineering software, such as AutoCAD, or others.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills; high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities depending on project needs. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, and employees.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude.
• Ability to work in a construction site environment (trailer office).
  

Language Proficiency:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin, preferred.
  

Nice to have:

• PMP
• Oracle Primavera P6 certification
• PSP, CST, or EVP certifications
• Written or verbal communication skills in Mandarin.
  
  

Additional Requirements:

• Must have and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license. May be required to travel to other sites within Arizona to perform certain work functions.
  
  

Physical Demands & Work Environment

This position requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs for transporting documents, equipment, and other materials as needed. The role involves extended periods of sitting while working at a computer, as well as standing and walking. Frequent movement between the construction trailer and various areas of the construction site is necessary.

The position is based at the construction job site (trailer office). Even though the exposure of hazardous work conditions would be minimal, the employee may be required to visit the work area of the jobsite and thus be exposed to some typical work hazards that may be present on a construction site, such as dust, moving machineries, weather, caustic chemicals, noise etc. UIS would provide the required safety protection to ensure the safety of UIS employees and comply with all OSHA standards.
