Title: Cobol Developer
Location: Jackson, MS-5 Days in Office
Mode: Contract (w2 & c2c)
Duration: 6–12-month Contract to Hire
Overview:
· COBOL Programmers are responsible for development, programming, and coding of Information Technology solutions.
· You will be responsible for documenting detailed system specifications, participation in unit testing and maintenance of planned and unplanned internally developed applications, evaluation, and performance testing of purchased products.
· You will be responsible for including IT Controls to protect confidentiality, integrity, as well as availability of the application and data processed or output by the application.
Required:
- Client needs a candidate with a Healthcare Industry Background
- Must have Claims Processing and Claims Adjudication experience
- Bachelor s degree
- 3-5 years of COBOL design/development experience in a Mainframe environment or equivalent (JCL, COBOL, DB2)
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly and articulately
Preferred:

- Python along with COBOL programming
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $60.00 - $68.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
