Java Backend Lead Engineer

  • 9 to 12 years of professional software development experience in Java based enterprise applications.
  • Proficiency in Java 8 / 11, with a good understanding of its ecosystems
  • Experience with REST web services incl. microservices
  • Experience with Spring / Springboot
  • Experience with automated build and deployment pipelining with Armory / Spinnaker
  • Experience integrating multiple data sources including Oracle and / or Postgres
  • Experience integrating cloud-based applications via AWS queues / topics
  • Experience implementing API-level security e.g. token-based
  • Experience with Java Unit Testing (such as JUnit)
  • Proficient in Git and GitHub
  • Proficient in log analysis e.g. Splunk
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering, or relevant field
  • Experience in Agile development environment.
  • Understanding of security principles such as authentication, authorization, and encryption.
  • Experience in OTT domain & Rights management system is a plus

    • Responsibilities :

    • Design, Develop & maintain enterprise applications in Java, J2EE, spring boot, postgreSQL
    • Design, Develop and maintain microservices using Java Spring boot, Redis
    • Ensure the application designs conform the business goals.
    • Ability to break down the complex problem into workable tasks
    • Communicate architectural design using diagrams and written descriptions to mid and sr. level
    • Adhere to consistent coding standards and practices.
    • Ability to coordinate your work with others in the team
    • Participate in technical meetings, quality assurance, peer reviews and code reviews.
