Job Summary
Works independently with senior level business partners within the business function to align solutions with business strategies. Oversees the identification and communication of business needs and the translation of these needs into understandable requirements. Determines if internal or external solutions exist or whether new solutions are needed. Works with key technology and / or department analysts to determine if these solutions impact existing work processes and systems. Partners with appropriate resources to accurately prioritize, analyze, and document business processes. Provides input surround buy vs. build decisions for possible solutions. Identifies opportunities for improvement / enhancement, and negotiate agreements and commitments between business partners and IT from requirements gathering to the final implementation. Responsible for the more complex work and assignments typically required of a business analyst. Provides leadership, coaching and development to junior business analysts.
