Prioritize work based on the project needs and work effectively with minimum supervision.
- Manage, Monitor, Troubleshoot Database Operations, Optimize database performance, tuning.
- Implement high availability, replication, and cluster on databases.
- Database refreshes in on-prem and cloud.
- Support application release deployment and perform data fixes.
- Working with the application team to rewrite the Stored Procedures.
- Troubleshooting performance issues in real time.
- Work in a globally distributed team in an Agile / Scrum approach
- Provide routine status reports to leadership and escalate as necessary.
- Maintain Service Levels and department goals for problem resolution.
- Follow security stands and effectively manage software patches and upgrades.
- Utilize best practices, standard procedures.
- Write and maintain clear documentation.
- Ensure 24x7 availability for critical database systems hosted "on premise" and on AWS & Azure Cloud.
- Be available to participate in 24x7 on-call rotation for the team.
