Role: Desktop Support
Work Location: Charles Town, WV - 25414 - Onsite
Mode: Contract on W2
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support:
Provide L1/L2 support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
Troubleshoot Windows, macOS, and Linux issues.
Support end-users with email, VPN, and remote access problems.
Assist with password resets, user account management, and software installations.
Hardware & Software Maintenance:
Diagnose and repair hardware failures (RAM, SSD, motherboards, etc.).
Install, configure, and update operating systems and software.
Maintain inventory of IT assets and recommend upgrades.
Network & Security:
Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN connectivity issues.
Ensure compliance with IT security policies (patching, antivirus, encryption).
Assist in managing Active Directory, Office 365, and cloud applications.
Collaboration & Documentation:
Work closely with IT teams, vendors, and service providers.
Document issue resolutions and knowledge base articles for future reference.
Train users on best practices for IT security and system usage.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour
