The DC Industrial Engineer Intern is an entry-level role designed to provide hands-on experience in an automated 1.8 million square foot, $1B Distribution Center (DC). Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this internship offers an opportunity to develop foundational skills in process analysis, operational efficiency, and Lean principles while supporting daily operations.
The intern will work closely with cross-functional teams to learn and apply industrial engineering concepts, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity and workflow optimization. This role requires curiosity, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a collaborative team environment that prioritizes trust, teamwork, and innovation.

Functional Responsibilities
Education / Qualifications
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Microsoft Office suite.
Experience
Basic understanding of ergonomics, Lean principles, and process optimization.
Previous internship or coursework related to distribution, logistics, or manufacturing operations.
