Job Title
Sample Room Assistant (Temp to Perm)
Essential Functions (Including but not limited to):
- Unpack, hang and log in samples to Excel & our PLM Software
- Assist in tagging samples and eventually onboard to pull sample tag report to create samples tags
- Steam and prep samples for showroom/ sales meetings
- Assist in strike off prep
- Clean out and organize past and present samples (donations)
- Assist in shipping out samples to domestic and international accounts
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High School Diploma and 2 years’ experience in a related role within the apparel industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2 years Retail or Wholesale experience preferred.
- Merchandise operations/customer support a plus.
- Proficient skills in Excel and Outlook with an aptitude for learning new programs.
- Motivation to work in a fast passed environment.
- Team Player with a “Can do Attitude”; while also ability to work independently when needed.
- Resourceful problem solver
- Positive and professional demeanor.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to execute on timelines and expectations autonomously.
- Ability to recognize and react to changing work demands.
Salary Range: $40,000 - $45,000
Workplace Type: On-site
