Job summary
There are 7 Radiology Departments across United Lincolnshire Hospital's NHS Trust, offering MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Dexa, X-Ray, Fluoroscopy and Interventional services.
We perform over 300k examinations per year providing a 24 hour service for emergency procedures. The departments carry out a wide range of procedures including plain film radiography, barium studies, A / E Trauma, IVU's, theatre, dental and interventional fluoroscopy. The MRI, CT and Ultrasound departments are constantly developing and expanding their service provision.
Main duties of the job
Suitable applicants will undertake duties within the Reception teams based at Pilgrim Hospital Boston.
The successful applicant will join the team of Receptionists, liaising with patients, clinicians and Radiology clinical staff. Reception duties will including welcoming patients into the department and attending them for their Radiology appointment; in addition to answering any queries.

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county.
This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.
The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).
