Job Description
We are United Machining LLC, a growing precision manufacturing company in Tempe, AZ. We have been in business for 15 years producing over 380 unique parts to various upper tier Aerospace companies. We are AS9100 / ISO 9001 : 2015 certified and seek to begin expanding our customer base with the addition of the right team member. We are seeking a well experienced CNC Programmer and Setup / Machinist to grow with our expanding group. We pride ourselves in delivering quality consistently and on time.
Proper candidates are those with extensive experience in programming and setup of CNC Lathes and Mills, using Fanuc Controls. All machines are FANUC controlled. We currently run BobCAD for our programming needs, so experience and high competency with BobCAD is desired. The position entails executing programming AND setup needs via our machining schedule, assisting in inspections and finding solutions when challenges arise throughout the machining process. This position also requires 20-30% of time spent operating the machines running parts, if there aren't any immediate programming / setup needs (which there usually are). We have a constant flow of work currently and seek to bring in more as we expand the number of machines and our capabilities. Programming / setup needs are daily in nature at our shop as we flip machines constantly. We are a team of 8 individuals currently and have machine operators to run parts once released by the programmer / setup, however, as stated there is a percentage of time required to operate machines. This position is a fulltime position with benefits, competitive pay, and reasonable hours of 40-45 per week with opportunity for individual growth for the right hire. There will be a trial period of 60 days to ensure we are all a good fit for each other. After the trial period we can renegotiate compensation package to reflect long term growth with our group.
