POSITION SCOPE
The Logistics Analyst is akey member of the Logistics Team, responsible for both analytical andoperational tasks that drive efficiency and effectiveness across logisticsoperations. This hybrid role combines reporting and data analysis functionswith day-to-day logistics activities such as shipment tracking, providingcarrier rate quotes, and supporting customer service inquiries. The idealcandidate will possess a strong mix of communication and analytical skills,capable of handling logistics-related queries efficiently while also generatingactionable insights from logistics data. The successful candidate willcontribute to optimizing logistics processes, improving performance metrics,and supporting key decisions through data-driven analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Logistics Duties : Support the day-to-day logistics process, including tendering shipments, filing freight claims, providing rate quotes, processing customer returns, configuring the TMS, entering landed cost data in ERP system, sending out carrier RFPs, and resolving carrier billing disputes.
- Internal Support : Serve as a point of contact for internal teams (e.g., Customer Service, Operations, Finance, etc), addressing logistics-related questions, providing shipment updates, and ensuring timely responses to inquiries regarding rates and shipping details.
- Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement : Identify inefficiencies or gaps in the logistics process and recommend data-driven solutions for continuous improvement. Implement best practices to enhance system accuracy and reduce operational costs.
- KPI & Performance Metrics Analysis : Track, analyze, and report on key logistics metrics (KPIs) to assess the performance of carriers and logistics operations. Provide actionable insights to support the logistics team's strategic and operational goals.
- Reporting & Insights : Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on TMS metrics, carrier performance, and overall logistics performance. Present key findings to management to inform decision-making.
- Carrier Relationship Management : Assist the Logistics manager in collaborating with carriers to resolve issues, optimize shipping routes, and ensure smooth execution of all logistics processes.
- ERP / TMS System Support : Collaborate with IT and other departments to support ongoing ERP / TMS updates, resolve system errors, and ensure the smooth operation of logistics functions.

COMPENSATION
Hourly Rate : $31.43 -$47.15 per hour DOE
Newly hired incumbents are placed on the salary scale based on their education, training / skill, and experience, as applicable.
