OVERALL ROLE :
Control, process, and maintain materials inventory and work areas to assure the efficient and successful distribution and processing of materials needed in the manufacturing process.
This is for the First Shift ( 6;30 AM to 3 : 00 PM)
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Ability to operate fork lift trucks and pallet jacks in an efficient and safe manner.
- Store completed production items and assure they are identified and their storage location is recorded.
- Maintain materials inventory to assure timely delivery whenever needed.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment.
- Assist staff and mechanics as needed.
- Inspect and maintain safety of lift trucks, pallet jacks, and all other equipment needed to perform the duties of the material handler.
- All other duties as assigned.
