Medical Assistant
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Allergy & Immunology department. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, patient-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting. The Medical Assistant will support physicians and patients by performing clinical and administrative duties, ensuring the highest quality of care.
Responsibilities
Assist physicians with patient exams, allergy testing, and immunotherapy administration
Prepare and maintain patient records in the EMR system
Educate patients on allergy treatments, medication use, and preventative care
Administer injections, skin tests, and other diagnostic procedures as directed
Perform vital sign measurements and document medical histories
Handle scheduling, referrals, and insurance authorizations
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment following safety protocols
Qualifications
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
Previous experience in Allergy & Immunology or a similar specialty is a plus
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records (EMR)
Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Salary : $21 - $28
