About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear PET CT Technician to join our team in the Health Care Services industry. As a Nuclear PET CT Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using specialized equipment to produce images of a patient's body for diagnostic purposes. Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology
- Current certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current state licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist or Radiologic Technologist
- Experience in performing Nuclear PET CT imaging procedures
- Knowledge of radiation safety procedures and regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology
- Experience with PET CT imaging procedures
- Experience with PET CT equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities:
- Performing diagnostic imaging procedures using specialized equipment to produce images of a patient's body for diagnostic purposes
- Administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients and monitoring their vital signs during the procedure
- Ensuring the safety of patients and staff by following established radiation safety procedures
- Maintaining accurate records of patient procedures and results
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses
