Job Summary:
The Data Analyst will support the Senior Finance Director in gathering, analyzing, and compiling data with the purpose of developing reports needed to identify trends and patterns for financial reviews and discussions.
This is a full time role based out of our Westborough, MA headquarters. Candidates must be local to the area or willing to commute 3 days a week.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial, operational, and sales data to identify business trends, inefficiencies, and growth opportunities
- Develop dashboards, visualizations, and recurring reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand analytical needs and provide data-driven recommendations
- Maintain data models to support monthly reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and entity/partnership profitability analysis
- Assist data requests to support cross-functional initiatives (e.g., sales performance summaries translated to financial data, and operational reviews for the distinct modalities)
- Provide support for the annual budget process and preparation of presentations.
- Create repeatable reports in Workday Adaptive consolidation tool
- Interpret complex data and communicate findings in a clear, concise, and actionable manner
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems and reporting platforms
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to collect and compile relevant data.
- Extremely organized with great attention to detail.
- Excellent ability to analyze information and think systematically.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to handle databases and understand technology-driven business intelligence tools
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Finance, Economics or related field
- At least one year of experience involving the analytical research and reporting of complex financial data or any combination of relevant experience and education.
- Experience with ERPs
- Experience with EPM software; Workday Adaptive is a plus
