United Methodist Homes is looking for Certified Personal Care Aides to provide care and actvities of daily living for residents in our Assisted Living/Adult Care Facility. Full, part, and per diem positions available on all shifts.

**$2.00 Shift Differential for evening and night shift
Responsibilities:
- Assists residents with dressing and grooming such as care of hair, nails and teeth.
- Assists residents with bathing, showering, and toileting as needed.
- Assists residents at mealtime with transporting to and from the dining room.
- Assists residents with transfer or ambulation.
- Makes beds and performs other light housekeeping duties such as removing dirty linens, straightening rooms, etc.
- Performs charting duties including activity and treatment sheets.
- Checks daily appointments for residents such as for the beauty shop, etc and assists with transport.
- Encourages and assists residents to activities when necessary.
- Sorts and distributes residents' laundry. Re-labels personal laundry as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to residents, family members, or employees of organization.
- Must be physically able to perform the essential functions of the job
Job Types: Part-time, Per diem
Pay: $18.10 - $18.40 per hour
