LPN Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN to join our healthcare team. The LPN will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician
• Assist with patient assessments and care planning
• Monitor and record vital signs and other patient information
• Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care

Requirements:

• Current LPN license in the state of Connecticut
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Basic computer skills
