Activities Director (ADC Certified)

SummaryResponsible for the overall planning, implementing and scheduling of recreational, cultural, social, educational, and other meaningful activities for residents

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

- Prepares department goals and budget on a yearly basis

- Prepares monthly report for Administrator

- Maintains a master calendar of at least six months of activity scheduling for NYSDOH surveys (NY)

- Maintains files on Transportation Release of Responsibility forms and Interest Surveys as mandated by State Rules and Regulations (PA)

- Participates in case conferences

- Assesses new residents or assigns staff to task

- Orders equipment / supplies as needed

- Assigns activity leader to compile statistics on resident participation and volunteers

- Supervises and schedules Shopper's Service

- Oversees assigned activities

- Oversees reservation for various activities such as outings, trips, and use of campus bus, etc.

- Keeps facility pianos tuned and pianos and organ in good repair

- Attends meetings such as Department Head, QAPI, etc.

- May have responsibility for ensuring Teleagenda is completed in a timely manner.

Pay: $23.55 - $25.95 per hour
