Schedule: M-F | Rotating weekends
Location: Porter Hill's Village | Grand Rapids, MI
Overview:
The Cook prepares wholesome and delicious meals in our scratch kitchen for older adults while bringing smiles to their faces through food.
What you’ll do
- Prepare and cook a variety of nutritious meals for residents
- Collaborate with our team to create healthy and flavorful dishes
- Cater to special dietary requirements and restrictions
- Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation
What it takes
- Culinary Education Preferred
- ServSafe Certification preferred
- Allergen Certification, preferred
- Two (2) year short order cook experience in a restaurant, café, food service kitchen or other related environment preferred. On-the-job training provided
- Must be a minimum of eighteen (18) years of age.
