The Scheduling Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring that team members are strategically scheduled to meet the unique needs of residents, while also providing essential clerical support. This position requires a dynamic approach, balancing efficiency and precision, all while following established procedures and working closely with your supervisor to keep everything running smoothly!
What you’ll do
- Create, distribute and maintain schedules for team members in accordance with established deadlines.
- Assist with emergency scheduling needs.
- Maintain team member availability records.
- Maintain accurate database of team members including demographics, needs, preferences, and attendance.
- Monitor, report and coordinate staffing needs with management and in accordance with the budget.
- Monitor and manage overtime hours.
- Assist management with retention efforts.
- Support team members during their onboarding and orientation.
- Work collaboratively with management and Payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of timecards.
- Monitor the hours of team members to ensure that employment status requirements are met.
- Perform general secretarial and administrative duties as required or directed.
What it takes
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in office clerical work.
- Proficient level expertise with Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Previous experience entering schedules, approving time, and reviewing requests off in ADP or a similar multi-functioning payroll system.
- Previous experience as a Scheduler in a Healthcare setting is preferred.
- Previous experience using On-Shift system is preferred.
