Audio Visual Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Audio Visual Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting audio-visual equipment for worship service and events. This role requires technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Set up and operate audio-visual equipment, including projectors, sound systems, and lighting for events.
• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of AV systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with event coordinators to understand technical requirements and provide solutions.
• Install cabling and low voltage systems as needed for various projects.
• Utilize hand tools and electrical equipment safely while adhering to industry standards.
• Provide technical support during events, ensuring all AV components function smoothly.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, repairs, and inventory.

Skills

• Proficient in ProPresenter Presentation Software, Microsoft Office, Adobe.
• Proficient in software troubleshooting related to audio-visual systems.
• Strong knowledge of cabling techniques and low voltage installations.
• Familiarity with electrical systems and mechanical knowledge relevant to AV technology.
• Competence in computer hardware setup and maintenance related to AV applications.
• Ability to work with hand tools effectively and safely in various environments.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and congregation.
