Position Summary:
The position of Customer Service Representative [CSR] is responsible for performing routine and intermediate branch and customer services duties accepts retail and commercial checking and savings deposits; processes loan payments; cashes checks and savings withdrawals; assists with night depository and vault duties. May be responsible for new account transactions; assisting customers in their selection of various accounts and financial services, cross-selling bank's products, and services; opening, maintaining and closing of all product types; performing branch clerical duties; promotes business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services.
- Deposits: Assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, and account inquiries
- Verifications: Verify deposit amounts and account balances
- Record keeping: Record transactions into bank records and prepare transaction reports
- Cash handling: Count and package currency, reconcile cash drawers, and verifies cash being returned to the vault
- Customer service: Answer questions, provide information on new products, and resolve account discrepancies
Education and Experience:
High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven customer support experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Basic Office Machine Operation Skills, Printers, Scanners, Copiers, Fax, postage machine, etc.
