UN Women plays an innovative and catalytic role in the State of Palestine since its inception in 1997 (as UNIFEM). In line with the national priorities, the work of UN Women for the period 2023-2025 is aligned with three of the Palestine United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework’s (UNSDCF) outcomes:
Under the overall supervision of the Operations Manager, and direct supervision of the Operations Assistant, the Helper/Cleaner will provide support to office operations performing a variety of standard cleaning functions ensuring high quality and high sense of responsibility.
The helper works in close collaboration with all staff in the country office (CO), to ensure the cleanliness of the office.
This assignment will be on an as-needed basis, averaging 2 hours per day, with the possibility of an increase depending on office requirements.

Description Of Responsibilities /Scope Of Work

- Perform cleaning, functions as required, including washing, sweeping, dusting, vacuum polishing.
- Clean surfaces, including floors, furniture, walls, doors, windows, carpets.
- Keep office rooms, kitchens, and toilets clean and hygienic.
- Maintain and clear all cleaning equipment utilized, monitor and restock of cleaning supplies.
- Ensure meeting room is always clean and tidy and ready for meetings regularly.
- Maintain Kitchen equipment and area.
- Perform other related duties as required.
