What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mortgage Operations Analyst position at United Nations Federal Credit Union?
Provide product development and mortgage lending support in compliance with applicable Federal, State and NCUA rules and regulations. Perform operational activities involved in the creation of new products and changes to guidelines, programs, and procedures. Perform user acceptance testing (UAT), updates and maintenance of the LOS, and related integrations. Deliver end user training on systems and workflows to the Mortgage area. Collaborate with mortgage lending team to implement products and services required to meet market needs, regulatory requirements, operational efficiency and prudent lending.
This position is expected to be remote.
NYC Salary Range - annually; compensation is commensurate to geographic location.

- Provide development and implementation support in rolling out new mortgage products and services in retail, joint venture, and correspondent lending channels.
- Perform industry research and assist with pre-planning process.
- Ensure UNFCU portfolio, agency, and service release products are maintained in compliance with UNFCU, agency (FNMA, FHLMC & FHLB), HUD / VA and secondary market guidelines.
- Monitor product and guideline changes from approved Servicing Released partners to update internal systems and communicate changes to mortgage staff.
- Prepare changes and document approvals to guidelines, products, and procedures for mortgage area.
- Maintain changes to guidelines, procedures, and policies internally and externally via AllRegs in a timely manner.
- Provide production support on the POS and LOS.
- Participate in regular system maintenance, configuration changes, and support issues.
- Coordinate and perform user acceptance testing (UAT) in the LOS / POS and related integrations, including Optimal Blue, document vendors and Loan Servicing systems to ensure end to end data flow, correct configuration of both new and existing product changes and guidelines.
- Provide UAT support to testers on understanding workflows and interfaces.
- Conduct system end user training for all teams within mortgage lending.
- Collaborate with vendors and application development teams to triage issues.
- Support mortgage lending projects and special assignments as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with 4-5 years of experience in mortgage lending
- 2 years of experience in user acceptance testing (UAT) or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with end to end mortgage process and regulations
- Full range of mortgage operations knowledge
- Proficiency with MS Office and applicable mortgage software
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Service focused with an ability to work collaboratively
- Proficient in multi-tasking and prioritizing and able to work in a fast paced environment
