Support UNFCU’s ERM Framework, focusing on strategic and reputational risks. Analyze and oversee risks such as credit, liquidity, interest rate risk, market risk, and capital management, as well as technology (e.g., IT and Information Security), partnerships, innovation, emerging risks, and alignment with organizational strategies.
This position is expected to be hybrid.
NYC Salary Range - $93,540 - $130,000 annually; compensation is commensurate to geographic location.

- Conduct risk assessments, monitoring risk exposures, and developing monitoring tools (e.g., KRIs)
- Leverage data analytics to identify trends, uncover risks, and deliver actionable insights.
- Support GRC system management, insurance risk management, and stress testing processes.
- Analyze, identify, assess, monitor, and report on financial, strategic and reputational risks, including credit risk, liquidity, interest rate risk, capital management, and market risk.
- Support the monitoring of technology risk, ensuring effective management and control and mitigation strategies are in place.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and associated tools to effectively track and analyze risk trends and exposures.
- Support the insurance risk management program and assist with capital planning and stress testing initiatives.
- Present findings effectively with senior management, internal staff, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Communicate risk insights clearly and effectively with senior management, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in Financial Services or Risk Management, with a focus on Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Technology Risk, and Strategic and Financial Risk Management
- Strong knowledge of risk disciplines regarding credit, reputation, liquidity interest rate, market risk, and capital risk
- Ability to assess risks related to emerging technologies, including AI, blockchain, and cloud computing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Familiarity with integrating and analyzing data from disparate systems to provide comprehensive risk insights
- Knowledge of stress testing principles and processes
- Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and analysis tools
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and professional reports and documentation
- Strong conceptual thinking and practical implementation skills
- Demonstrated relationship-building skills with the ability to exert positive influence and foster collaboration across all organizational levels
