What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scrub Tech position at United Obstetrics and Gynecology?
Busy ambulatory surgery center looking for a full time Scrub Technician.
Applicant must have certification in Surgical Technology.
Applicant must have a positive attitude and work well with others!
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare and organize the operating room equipment, instruments, and supplies as required for various surgical procedures.
- Anticipate surgeon and patient needs during a procedure
- Take care of specimens, prepare, check, and monitor medications, and assist with dressings
- Participate in stocking and restocking medical supplies.
- Inspect, replace, and sterilize medical instruments
- Provide surgeons and patients with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment
Position is FULL TIME, six days on six days off with some holiday coverage required.
